Workfieldv was built by people who travel for curiosity — and who believe the planning is as important as the destination.
Who we are and what we do
Workfieldv is a travel agency based in Thika, Kenya, specialising in curated journeys across East Africa. We design and manage leisure holidays, business travel programmes, group tours, and luxury private experiences for individuals, families, and organisations who want their time away to be genuinely well spent. Our work covers every stage of a trip: initial consultations, itinerary design, accommodation and flight bookings, visa guidance, ground transfers, and in-trip support. We've been operating since 2017, and in that time we've planned trips for clients arriving from across Africa, Europe, and North America. The common thread among them is that they wanted more than a transactional booking — they wanted someone who understood why the trip mattered to them. That's the conversation we start with every new enquiry, and it's what shapes everything that follows.
How we work — and where we're honest about limits
Our team is small by design. A micro-agency structure means that the person you speak to during the planning process is the same person monitoring your trip when you're on the ground. We don't hand files between departments or assign anonymous account managers. This approach works best for clients who value continuity and direct communication over call-centre availability. We serve travellers heading to Kenya's major wildlife circuits, the coast, and selected East African neighbours — Tanzania, Uganda, and Rwanda primarily. We don't claim expertise in long-haul destinations outside East Africa; if you need a round-the-world itinerary, we'd rather refer you to a specialist than take on something we haven't researched to the same depth. Since 2017 we've completed over 340 trip engagements, ranging from a solo weekend at a highland lodge to a 70-person incentive group across three countries. That range has taught us where our strengths are — and where to be careful. We're honest with clients when timelines are tight, when a destination has unpredictable access conditions, or when a budget won't stretch to the experience they're imagining. We'd rather have that conversation early than let expectations drift past what's achievable.

Reachable when it counts
During active trips, a Workfieldv contact is available by phone or WhatsApp. We don't promise 24-hour cover, but we're responsive during Kenya business hours and we provide an emergency contact for out-of-hours situations.
Honest timelines
Good travel takes planning time. We typically ask for at least six weeks' lead time for safari itineraries during peak season. If you're coming to us with two weeks to go in July, we'll be straightforward about what's still achievable.
